Shielding
ORMUS
for Storage and
Shipping
by Barry Carter
Early in our work with the ORMUS materials Jim and I tried to solve some
significant problems that we had with transporting them. Due to his "accident" Jim was quite sensitive to
ORMUS in the air and he noticed that the ORMUS he was transporting would "blow off" whenever he drove under
a high tension power line. This would happen even when the containers were sealed. We also noticed that the
ORMUS was quite sensitive to moving magnetic fields and this knowledge lead to Jim's invention of the
magnetic levitation traps.
One time when I was visiting Jim at his "lab" he had me hold a bottle of some
ORMUS rhodium/iridium that he made from metal using his proprietary ozone technology. This liquid was in a
Nalgene bottle and looked almost exactly like the bottle of Jim's ORMUS in the
picture below:
As I held the bottle Jim waved a magnet back and forth next to it like in the
picture above and the one below:
Jim said that he could feel the magnet push and pull against the bottle as he
moved it near the bottle. He asked me if I could feel this but I was not sure that I could. This prompted
Jim to move the magnet more vigorously but I still was not certain that I felt anything. Then Jim had me
spin the bottle over a speaker magnet like the one in the picture below:
I would turn the bottle and then pull it away from the magnet. Jim said I should
feel the effect of the magnet but again I was not sure. Eventually Jim took a magnet and chucked it into an
electric drill and held this under the bottle but I still was not sure I could feel anything. This process
went on for a total of about five minutes.
We finally tired of this and turned around to look at some samples he had in the
refrigerator behind us. When we turned back to the lab bench after a few minutes I noticed two or three
small round drops of a clear sparkling liquid on top of the sealed bottle.
These Nalgene bottles are laboratory grade and were
purchased at a scientific supply store. Since they are designed to provide a leak proof container for toxic
and hazardous chemicals they have a really good seal built into the lid.
Knowing this, I asked Jim how the drops got on the top of the lid of the bottle.
He answered that he thought it "tunneled" out. I asked him what he meant by "tunneled out". He told me that
he thought this was the same thing as Josephson tunneling (which British physicist Brian Josephson got a
Nobel Prize for discovering in 1973). Josephson discovered that paired electrons could "tunnel" through an
electron barrier. There are mystical aspects of this tunneling in that Josephson's theory postulates that the electrons leave the absolute physical world and
travel through a non physical quantum realm. Other scientists have demonstrated that quantum particles
travel instantaneously when they tunnel.
I told Jim that I did not think that big stuff, stuff larger than electrons,
could tunnel. Jim said "oh yeah, it happens all the time".
Well, being a careful scientific type person and not knowing what these drops of
liquid which escaped the bottle were, I immediately put my finger in one of the drops. It felt oily when I
rubbed my fingers together. Since nothing bad happened when I did this I immediately tasted the oily liquid.
It tasted like the sweetest, most pleasant water that I had ever tasted. Like the sweet water from a spring
coming out of the mountain side, only magnify this a thousand times.
Since the first time I put this substance to my lips they have felt "slick"
every time I lick them and they have not chapped and split once. Before this they always used to chap and
split in the dry part of the year. I can still taste the sweet taste when I lick them. This substance would
match the Biblical description of the manna quite well.
This experience taught me how sensitive the ORMUS elements can be to spin fields
and moving magnetic fields.
Over the years Jim and I have developed some fairly effective ways to ship and store the energetic ORMUS
materials.
We think that ORMUS elements at different energy levels require different levels of shielding. Below is a
picture of one of Jim's "laboratory" storage systems for his high energy ORMUS:
The storage system above has several interesting features. It starts with a
cheap steel file drawer. Jim would put a magnet on the outside of the drawer and he kept several things in
the drawer with the samples. The magnet was put there because Jim noticed that ORMUS would tend to retreat
from magnetic fields. Jim's experiences with the "fly ash" prompted this discovery. You can listen to a
sound file with Jim's comments on the white powder that would move away from his hands
at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/flyashall.mp3
This sound file also includes some comments from David Hudson and Michael
Burbury on their independent observatons of the same phenomenon.
Jim also kept other things in his storage cabinet to "trap" any ORMUS that escaped from the sealed bottles it
was stored in. For example, Jim usually kept an unopened bottle of mineral oil in the file drawer. Over time,
the mineral oil in this sealed bottle would get clouds of what we think is ORMUS in it. You can see a picture
of these clouds in the bottle of mineral oil below:
Jim also generally kept an unopened container of aluminum oxide desiccant beads in the file cabinet with his
samples. You can see some of these beads in the picture below:
Notice the blue beads in with the white beads? These blue beads are indicator beads and they turn pink when the
beads have pulled in as much moisture as they can.
The factory sealed container of desiccant beads reminded me of the new plastic peanut butter or aspirin bottles
that have an inner seal over the top as illustrated below:
Over a few weeks time, the desiccant beads, in the fully sealed container, would change color. The bottle of
beads would also get significantly heavier. Both of these effects suggest that the ORMUS was somehow getting
into the desiccant beads inside the factory sealed container. The clouds in the mineral oil and the heavier
desiccant beads both suggest that Josephson tunneling is involved.
Also, based on these and other observations, we postulated that ORMUS "likes to hide out" in tight spaces such
as inside the pores of the desiccant beads and inside the molecules of the mineral oil. I have written an
article on this theory that you can read at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/gasormus.htm
We also think that ORMUS in different chemical "boxes" can be more or less sensitive to magnetic fields
depending on which chemical "box" it is in. For example salt water seems to provide a very comfy (well
shielded) space for ORMUS to hang out. This could be why ORMUS concentrates in the oceans and salty seas.
Knowing this, Jim would place a layer of rock salt in the bottom of the metal cans that he kept the Nalgene
bottles in as you can see below:
Jim also always added salt to his ORMUS preparations as the first level of shielding. When
Jim and I first came up with the HCl/H2O2 method for making ORMUS from gold on May 8, 1997, Jim told me that it
was very important to put salt in with the solution. You can see an image, that was captured from the video
that I took while we were making this discovery, below:
Later I repeated this experiment in my kitchen at home. Here is a picture of the
green "gold chloride" solution that I made back in 1997:
The first time I made this I did not follow Jim's recommendation to add salt for "shielding". Here is an
excerpt from the notes I wroteon 7/20/1997about my subsequent
experience:
"While I was stirring in the TSP and lye solutions I noticed that I was feeling
quite high. It was a bit like a pot high, but without the distortion and memory loss that pot gives. I also
noticed my lips were getting quite sweet and slippery. I asked Jim about this. His reply was that this is
quite common when working with these materials. To avoid it you should put some pure, lab grade, sodium
chloride in with your working solution. Without the salt, the m-state material will evaporate with the water
and much of it will be lost.
When I reached pH 7 I slowed down to a drop by drop addition with the
eyedropper. Despite my precautions, I overshot and took the solution up to pH 12 or higher. (Since there is
not likely to be anything precipitating out of this solution but gold, I did not worry about producing a
Gilcrest precipitate.) When the pH went up to 12 the solution quickly turned
from a colorless transparent liquid to a candy apple red color which soon showed some red precipitate. I
added some HCl to bring the pH back down to neutral but the color stayed. I gradually added lye water to
bring the pH up to about 10 and then took the solution off the burner to cool.
During this process I was noticing that the "high" feeling was becoming more and
more pronounced. It never caused any dysfunction but I decided that I should be very meticulous and careful
to avoid doing anything clumsy."
I did not do this process, without adding salt, again.
I still have some of the green "gold chloride" in the same flask pictured above. I believe that this was made
in 1997 too. I have kept this sample in a galvanized steel garbage can that has a magnet on the outside of the
top. Below is a picture of this storage system with the green "gold chloride" that was taken on April 12,
2008:
Jim also successfully stored samples in the old microwave oven pictured below:
Based on these and other experiences Jim and I came up with a method for shipping energetic ORMUS across
country that seems to work fairly well. Wrap a glass bottle containing a few ounces of ORMUS in aluminum foil.
Wrap this in paper or plastic and place it in a new quart paint can. Seal the paint can and wrap it in plastic
then in more aluminum foil. Wrap this in more plastic and seal it in a gallon paint can. You should stuff the
paint cans with paper or foam peanuts to keep things from rattling around. Put the gallon paint can in a
cardboard box for shipment. You can see some examples of the kinds of nested steel cans that Jim and I have
used below:
In one case, when we sent a sample to Taiwan, we placed the nested cans in a
discarded microwave oven. Even this sample showed a bit of leakage from the inner bottle when it was opened
in Taiwan.
This process works quite well but one apparently does not need to be this thorough when sending ORMUS which is
not as energetic. This would apply to most of the products on the market. These are
often shipped in some kind of aluminum foil wrapping. Though the aluminum foil
does not provide a magnetic shield it does seem to shield from scalar (spin) fields.
The organic and metal layers in the packaging scheme may also create an
orgone accumulator to energize the ORMUS. The description of the Ark of the
Covenant in the Bible would suggests that it might serve well as a capacitor and orgone accumulator. Perhaps it was used to store, energize and transport the ORMUS
manna.
Since salt provides some sort of a shield for the ORMUS there may be other
substances which fill a similar role. Some ORMUS researchers believe that the ORMUS we see is generally in a
chemical box which gives it some shielding from magnetic and spin fields. There is a bit of evidence that
different chemical boxes can provide better shielding for the ORMUS elements than others. You can read more
